So this past weekend I went to Nekocon with my anime club. Had lots of fun! I went as Sunny Gurlukovich from MGS4. A few people recognized me, but no one took my picture (that isn't important to me, though!). I bought: a Claymore wallscroll, Claymore keychain, Kiba (Naruto) keychain, Akamaru (Naruto) backpack, One Piece bookmark (artist alley...and it came with a free Nico Robin pin...hellz to the yeah!), a BEAUTIFUL print (artist alley), some One Piece notebookish things (they have different crew members on each side...my fav is the one with Robin and Sanji...because of Robin...), an awesome wooden sword, and a facemask (sort of like the surgery/I'm sick masks) with the kanji for love on it.

Rundown of the weekend:
Friday: We left at 3:00 pm after much stuffing crap/people into two cars. We eventually arrived after much getting lost thanks to lame directions (CURSE YOU GOOGLE MAPS!!!!!) around 6:30 pm. We got to the hotel and spent a ton of time deciding who got to sleep where in our single room. It had only one king sized bed and was a pretty small room. There were ten of us in the room...(six girls, four guys). I got to sleep in the gap on the floor between the bed and wall (it was small but I made it work...I'm not too wide so I could lay on my back pretty comfortably. We walked over to the con with some catgirls and they told us where to go to pick up our badges from Pre-reg. We did, and then we split up and walked around by ourselves. After the dealer's room closed we all went to Waffle House (nicknamed the Waffle Inn by us). Some of us were in cosplay, others weren't...I was. We ate (after a long time of trying to get our order take...we came during a mini-rush). Our waitress was pretty cool. We chatted with her after a while being like "Yeah, we know it's not your fault. There's a lot of us and only a few of you." and then she asked us what was going on (I said Japanese cartoonish comicbookish videogames stuff) and she was like "Oh! Like Gaia? I play that!"...my face went 0.o I was seriously not expecting someone to know what it was...we went back to the hotel and got dressed in "rave" gear and went to the dance. Lotsa fun...I danced with a random dude and his goatee kept poking me in my eye if we turned our heads at the same time. It was fun though. Finally went to bed at 1:00 in the morning.

Saturday: Woke up at 8:00 in the morning. Went to con (my cosplay smelled like Waffle House...er...Inn). My dad came by and gave me my camera charger (since my camera died...) and I went to charge and spent time at the con shopping and such. I got stuck hanging with one of the anime club members who I thought I liked as a friend, but as the weekend went I came to HATE HER...I got a question. Who honestly goes to an anime con and watches anime THEY'VE ALREADY SEEN?!!?! Seriously...she wanted to go into the video room and sit there and watch an anime she already saw...and owned...WTH!? It makes no sense in my mind. RANT RANT RANTasdj;alsdkghoiaewhsoihgpshfapiohgaopsdijgos;idhfoid...I feel better now. My anger seriously grew over 9000 times for her that day. I texted everyone in the club to go see the Phoenix Wright mock trial and we did and it was fun...lawl...lotsa fun. POCKY NOT POKEY!! Fun joke is fun. I then went back to room, got camera, and went back to con. I got autographs! Yay for getting in like thirty minutes early! Seriousy...the line was super long when it started. I got my Akamaru backpack signed and chatted with Kyle Hebert (voice of Kiba, Aizen, teen Gohan, etc.) for a bit while I waited for the guy in front of me to finish with Caitlin Glass (Winry, Vivi, Deneve). He's really nice and awesome! I also got my Claymore DVD signed by Caitlin (it was funny because Friday night I was saw her in the hallway and was like "Caitlin! Thanks for signing my DVD at AZ when I wasn't there! I really appreciated it!") and when I got up to her and she was like "Hey! It's you!" and I laughed. Then I got Colleen Clinkenbeard (Luffy, Riza, Galatea) to sign my One Piece and Claymore DVD and I told her I had a complete respect for her because of when I tried to do the Luffy voice and it killed me. She was like "Yeah, it's tough." and other stuff I don't remember. I later met up with my DA friend Keiko and we hung for a little and then went to the Cosplay contest. My favorites had to be the Coin Operated boy and I Sakura Kissed a Girl skits. I then went back to hotel room, got into rave wear, and went back to con. We met the glowstick fairy in the lobby and she gave us glowsticks. Twas awesome! I started feeling bad and went back to hotel room.

Sunday: I woke up and went to con for a little bit. Bought some last minute stuff cause of sales and stuff and started feeling even worse. My group took me back to room and made me rest for the rest of the time we had the room and then I was moved to the con (I rode on someone's back!) and slept next to one of my friends in the lobby of the con. We eventually got the rest of our crew together and made it back in one piece.

That was my con report! I later found the reason for my sickness! Let's just say my Monthly Curse decided to pay me a visit...yeah. All in all I had fun and apprently my club is trying to go to Katsucon in February! I would love to go...but I dunno since money might be an issue...I'll check when it gets closer.

Oh! And this weekend, since I'll be at my campus still (long story short, parents can't pick me up when they normally do D...(unless I can somehow snag a ride with a couple friends...) then I'll take pictures around campus and such and post them...

If I do somehow make it home then I'll take random pics around my house/neighborhood to compensate XD.
